AMEX was a fun project to edit. I had the privilege to edit this Japanese Commercial based on the idea from the Japanese student syncronize walking competition.
To be clear, I am the in-house agency editor, and not the primary editor from the post production house. My role was to provide many different versions to execute the Art Director’s ideas, testing different types of music, and seeing if we can fulfill client’s requests. There are also many versions made, for TV, for online media, for social media, and for ourselves as an agency.
I was fortunate to have the art director trust me and I would make cuts I feel would be good. I also made some VFX compositing covering reflected brand logos on the walls. The final product has a lot of my editing decisions.
